We believe technology is developing at an accelerating speed. This will have a tremendous impact on our society, jobs, and life in general. It means that there will be a lot of changes, and we all must be life-long learners as individuals and as organizations to thrive. At learning labs we experiment and develop tools to help creating habits of life-long-learning.
FABULINUS - NEAT FACTS FOR CURIOUS KIDS
My 7-year-old son keeps asking me every night before going to sleep: ”dad, tell me something I don’t know”. I love this question, but keep struggling to come up with new interesting facts and at the level that a 7-year-old understand and think is exciting.
At the same time, I read an article on children’s media use emphasizing the importance of parent-child shared media use in learning.
So I took the help of teachers to put together interesting facts written in a fun and pedagogical way for a 6-8-year-old. I have been reading about three facts each night together with my children in combination with saying good night, and the kids love it.
Like many parents I have been talking to seem to have equally curious kids, I made an app that provides three neat facts that arrive at 7.00 p.m. to read together.
People say Machine Learning is cool, but Human Learning is still much cooler.
We love feedback (even ruthless) and comments to see how it can be enhanced and developed. So please share!
If you are as passionate as I am about this, you are welcome to contribute with your own facts.
